Library

Access to information is a vital key in developing the individual’s potentiality. RCKN has provided a central library consisting more than 2879 volumes of books and adequate number of journals. All the latest editions of books both for reference and text are available in this library. It also subscribes to various newspaper for the information and update of their knowledge.

Transportation

This facility is like a lifeline for the centre and student safety is their biggest worry. Student bus transportation management system enable centre to efficiently manage routes, scheduling, and mileage. Presently the centre is working with 02 buses. 

Computer Labs

The Regional Centre has fully equipped information technology computer labs with more than 20 computers connected with LAN for the internet, academic work and for local network access.

Science Club

The Science Club of Regional Centre includes well equipped physics and chemistry labs. The Physics Lab has the modern equipment’s needed for not only conducting practical but also helpful for research and development work. The faculty of physics is devoted for improvement of the student’s knowledge and also for undertaking research study.

Our Chemistry Labs are fitted with granite top fitted with all accessories required to conduct every experiment. All glass wares and chemicals are available for conducting the practical in the lab with all accuracy.

Sports Ground

Regional Centre offers multiple sports facilities to its students which includes cricket, tennis, football, volleyball and kabaddi grounds as well as indoor sports with the aim of keeping their students mentally and physically fit.

Health care facility

Centre provides medical care for all our students and staff. Health care facilities for students and staff are felt to be the basic need. The Health Centre functions to provide immediate medicinal and first aid to all students and staff if the situation arises. The Health Centre is well equipped with respect to the availability of basic health related facilities like thermometer, sterilizer, dressing drum, weight measuring machine, B. P. Apparatus, etc. Regular Health Check-up camps are organized with active support from hospitals in the area.

Youth Red Cross Unit

Youths are the pillars & future leaders of the country. Today’s youths are tomorrow’s India. To attain a conducive environment for healthy physical, moral and intellectual’s growth of the youth; Youth Red Cross unit has been introduced in the  Regional Centre in Feb 2020 with 100 students have been enrolled in the Youth Red Cross unit. Red Ribbon club is also established under the roof of Red Cross Unit. Youth represent a substantial part of the membership of Red Cross for its humanitarian commitment. Young volunteers can make a significant contribution in meeting the needs of  most vulnerable people within their local communities through Red Cross youth programme. This has been designed to involve young people as much as possible in the movement and its activities not only as workers and also as beneficiaries, but as partners in management.
